Its Carbon Neutrality and 100% Renewables Action Plan aims to cut emissions across council operations while supporting the community’s transition to a low-carbon future. Beyond emissions reduction, Ballarat is building climate resilience by helping communities adapt, embedding climate risk considerations into operations, advocating for policy change, and fostering regional partnerships.
